01

Start with place, not an endless feed

Social discovery helps people find others connected to the places around them. Rather than an endless global feed, a nearby experience starts with local context and lets each person decide whether to take a next step. It can add context to a familiar café, a city walk or a break between classes; it does not mean everyone nearby is available or interested.

02

Profiles add context

A profile gives a first impression through information and social links its owner chooses to share. Treat it as a public surface and add only details you are comfortable showing to people you do not yet know. A service cannot verify every statement or guarantee another person’s identity, so use your judgement and review safety guidance.

03

Start local with realistic expectations

DOS is an independent project beginning with an early community focus in Iași, Romania. Available profiles depend on who joins and chooses to be visible, so the experience may be quiet at first. A website that can be read worldwide does not mean every city has a live DOS community. Check early access for current availability.
