DOS app help center
Practical help for visibility, profiles, account control and support
Availability and early access
DOS is being introduced in stages A launch-interest page is not proof that a public store build is available Use the download page for the current invitation or availability information and check the version installed on your device Do not enter credentials on an unofficial page claiming to offer DOS
People nearby and missing results
Nearby results require eligible participation, a current session, suitable permissions and sufficiently fresh location Empty results do not prove nobody is physically present Do not repeatedly change location or use multiple accounts to test whether a particular person is nearby
Check your session mode and device permissions In 1.0.6 beta, foreground sharing ends when you leave the app; background requires a separate choice Battery saving, weak signal and operating-system scheduling can delay updates Read Visibility and Location for the exact distinction
Profiles and public links
Review the information and social handles you choose to display A profile link can connect your DOS identity to an external account Only publish contact details you intend other people to use Public web cards have a separate publication setting and can be shared by anyone who has the link
Stop, block, unpublish or delete
Stop nearby participation through the DOS visibility, background or location controls, or sign out Block a person from their profile’s three-dot menu Unpublish a web card through its own control Use account deletion if you want the account removed These actions serve different purposes and should not be confused with uninstalling the app
Troubleshooting safely
When requesting support, provide the build and a short description of the failure Avoid sending credentials or exposing other users in screenshots Use Report a concern for harmful conduct and Data requests for privacy rights If a form fails, keep your description and avoid rapid repeated submissions
For a signup or technical problem, contact DOS support with the page address and the error you see. If you are waiting for launch news, use the early-access form; it does not create an app account.
